How It Works

Four steps from vessel to door

Clear process, smooth freight. This page spells out what you do, what we do and what you receive at every step — with a document checklist and FAQ at the end.

Step 1

Tell us about your container

Send the container number, ETA and delivery requirements — by phone, email, WhatsApp or the form on our contact page.

You provide

  • Container number, carrier / terminal and ETA
  • Destination address and preferred delivery window
  • Freight profile: pieces / pallets / weight / any oversized items

You receive

  • A written all-in rate within one business day
  • A pickup and delivery schedule
  • A named contact (English or Chinese)
Step 2

We pick up your container

Once the container is released, a vetted carrier picks it up at the NY/NJ terminal inside the appointment window, tracked door to door.

What we handle

  • Terminal appointments, chassis, gate paperwork
  • Demurrage / per-diem managed proactively, inside free time
  • Exams, chassis shortages and congestion flagged immediately with a plan

You receive

  • Pickup confirmation (time + container number)
  • In-transit milestone updates
  • Projected arrival at warehouse or door
Step 3

Devan, store or transload

At our Lehigh Valley facility the container runs your play: unload and put away, keep it moving as a transload, or cross-dock the same day.

Standard practice

  • Unload, count, reconcile against the packing list
  • Photo record: doors, seal, condition
  • Written exception report the same day

Your options

  • Put away into storage, billed by pallet or position
  • Palletize, label and sort before shipping out
  • Transfer to 53' trailers the same day for the linehaul
Step 4

Delivered on your schedule

FTL, LTL or retail-compliant delivery to your warehouse, DC or store network.

What we handle

  • Receiver appointments and window coordination
  • FBA / Wayfair / Walmart routing-guide compliance
  • Signed PODs returned and archived

Closed out

  • Proof of delivery plus the full milestone record
  • One invoice, easy reconciliation
  • Next container? Same contact, same process.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What are demurrage and per diem — and how do you avoid them?

Demurrage accrues when a container sits at the terminal past free time; per diem accrues when the container isn't returned to the carrier on schedule after pickup. Our practice: prioritize pickups inside free time, return empties promptly after devanning, and notify you immediately with a plan if an exam or other delay hits — keeping both exposures as low as possible.

How far in advance should I contact you?

Ideally 3–5 business days before the vessel arrives — earlier in peak season (August–October). Container already on the ground? Call anyway: we'll tell you on the spot whether we can slot it and at what rate.

Can I use just drayage, without warehousing?

Yes. All six services stand alone and combine freely — drayage-only direct delivery, devanning only, storage only, or outbound delivery only.

How do I track my freight?

Every shipment has a named contact and proactive milestone updates — pickup, arrival at warehouse, loaded out, delivered — by email or WhatsApp. Call or message any time; you'll never be relayed between three companies.

Who books FBA / Wayfair / Walmart delivery appointments?

We do, following each channel's routing guide: appointment numbers, time windows, pallet and label specs confirmed in advance to avoid refusals and chargebacks. You just provide the PO / shipment details.

What's included in the quote? Any hidden fees?

The written quote lists what's included and how it's billed. "If applicable" items — chassis, scale tickets, waiting time, re-delivery — are explained when we quote, with their trigger conditions. We discuss them before they happen. No after-the-fact surprises.

Tell us about your freight — we'll handle the rest

Container number, ETA, destination. You'll have a firm all-in rate within one business day.
